Registration form (or application form)

At Setup > EDIT Order Form, you customize your registration form (or application form). You can choose from some ready-made fields, or create your own fields and questions
 

Select from ready-made fields 

For each ready-made filed you want to include:
  • Check box in 1st column:  check to include the field in the registration form 
  • Check box in 2nd column: check to include the field in the contest entry form (For Contests and Abstract evaluation) 
  • Check box in 3rd column: check to set the field as required to complete

Click the Edit icon (pencil)  to change the properties of a field:

Field Name
This is  the name of the field or the question.You don't have to specify the field name in all languages. When the name is not specified in a language, the name that you have defined in your preferred language will automatically be used.   

Help Text
This is the (optional) help text that is displayed next to the field. Use it to provide more info or help, if needed. You don't have to specify the help text in all languages. When the name is not specified in a language, the name that you have defined in your preferred language will automatically be used.  

Field Properties
  • Include in order form
  • Include in submission (contest form)
  • Required
  • Organizer filed. Only members of the admin field can fill-in and see this field. It's not include in the form.
  • Show when order total is greater than zero
  • Editable - check if you would like the attendee to be able to change this field (in the My Tickets area)
  • Auto convert to latin characters. 
  • Convert to upper case. Some times useful when you print this field on badges.
  • Convert first char to uppercase. Some times useful when you print this field on badges.
  • Regular expression. For advanced validation of the value entered by the user
  • Message for regular expression. Error message displayed when the value entered does not match the regular expression
  • Export name. Include this field to a custom report.

Click SAVE to save your changes.


 

Add your own custom fields and questions 

Click CREATE A NEW FIELD to add your own fields and questions.

Select the type of your field. Available field types: 
  • Short Text
  • Long Text
  • Number
  • Positive Number
  • Money
  • True / False (check box)
  • Select List (List Box)
  • File Upload
  • Separator (Header with text)

Set the Properties, Field Name and Help text (see instructions above)
Click SAVE to save the new sorting order.
 

Arrange questions/fields in order

You can drag & drop your questions/fields to arrange them in the right order.
Click SAVE to save the new sorting order.

 

Examples

Example for Select List (List Box)
When creating a Select List enter the list options in the “Choices” field using the character “,” as a separator. For example, if you want your attendees to select their favorite color from a list, you would create a new field as follows:

Name: What is your favorite color?
Help text: Please select your favorite color
Choices: green,red,blue,yellow

Remember to click Save to save your changes.
